Student Scholarships

What are they?

The Bruce Miller Memorial Scholarship

We are proud to offer The Bruce Miller Memorial Scholarship beginning this year.  Bruce Miller was a Plainwell High School graduate who continued his education, earning a degree in Diesel Mechanics from Ferris State University.  Bruce’s brother, Karl, was a student at Cooper Elementary and his father, Ronald, taught his first five years at Cooper.

Sadly, Bruce passed away unexpectedly and his family graciously would like to provide a $1,000 scholarship to a Plainwell High School graduate who chooses to pursue a degree in Heavy Equipment Technology or Automotive Service Technology at Ferris State University, with priority given to those applying for Heavy Equipment Technology.  To apply, please complete the student scholarship application form and submit to the High School Guidance Office by April 30th.

Plainwell Education Foundation Senior Scholarships

Each spring, graduating seniors are encouraged to apply for Plainwell Education Foundation Scholarships.  All applications must be completed and returned to the High School Guidance Office by April 30th.  Winners of the scholarships will receive a check made out to both them and their university or college of choice at the Senior Awards Assembly in May.
