The Plainwell Education Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization organized to assist in providing excellence in education for Plainwell Community Schools.
History
The Plainwell Education Foundation was established as the Plainwell Community Schools Education Foundation in 1985 with the following mission:
"The mission of the Plainwell Education Foundation is to enhance excellence in education in Plainwell Community Schools. The Foundation is intended to provide financial assistance to projects or investment in students or teachers that are characterized as motivational or character building or improving skills or in general terms tending to enhance the Plainwell Community Schools and without which assistance the activity would not occur. Activities whose main thrust is entertainment or enjoyment are not within the scope of the mission of this corporation. All financial grants shall be associated with the Plainwell Community School District."
The founding members consisted of:

In 2006 the Plainwell Community Schools Education Foundation simplified their name and changed it to the Plainwell Education Foundation.
